Managed to cure the worst of the static today. Turns out it’s the wireless phone charger I’ve placed above my head unit. Annoying as I’ve hard wired it in there too and fed the cable. Easily moved though I guess. I’ll put it on the other side of the steering wheel.

Basically picking up signals from other things that cause the unit to play annoying sounds. Not really sure how to explain it 😂 Could you point me in the direction of any threads? I did have a search but I was unsuccessful. Will have another look. Nope I haven’t. Is it easy to access. Mine is constantly trying to connect and keeps interfering with my MFD so I will get that unplugged.

So recently got my Superb, but on niggly thing is that the needle on the revometers light is out, so when it's dark you can't see it. This got me thinking about replacing the light and whether all the lights could be replaced to change the colour. I've seen it done on plenty of other cars and I'm just wondering what's involved and if anyone can give any advise. Fitted the GPS adapter today, and that's working fine. I'm getting interference, which is especially bad and annoying when I'm streaming music. Not sure where to start with sorting that 😞

No problem. No the antenna was a direct fit for my unit

The steering wheel controls work for volume and tracks, the bluetooth appears to be separate. So you still have the standard bluetooth which you can access using the MFD, or the new head unit's bluetooth is used through the unit.

I had GPS before, however I'm currently using the GPS antenna supplied with the unit. I didn't realise I needed an adapter to use the car's antenna. I've since ordered this adapter, and will fit it when it arrives. All the heating/climate control and heated seats display on the screen, as does the parking sensor display. Radio reception is fine, it uses the car's antenna so no different than before. I didn't opt for DAB as I don't use it. I've got an EE Wifi mini in the car, and I'm using this to provide interent to the unit, and I'll mainly use spotify.

I was genuinely surprised at how straight forward and simple it was! I bought some plastic trim removal tools just be sure I didn't damage anything removing the trim. Ahh okay, it has a location symbol next to it, so I wasn't too sure. Thanks for clearing that up. I've just ordered a reversing camera to fit to it

Fitted it today, so easy to do and worked straight away. Couple of minor issues... 1 - The unit is displaying the wrong doors when open, so if I open the driver's door, it shows the passenger, and vice versa. 2 - Can't seem to use Netflix, it's on the unit, but says not compatible with my device. 3 - What's this slot (pictured) for? A memory card or sim? Also, thinking of ordering the reversing camera, anyone fitted this? What route did you take with the cable?

I've only gone for the 4G, did think about TPMS so might order that another time. Never used DAB in my last car so didn't bother with that. Imagine there should be enough space as it looks not too deep. What's a quad extender?

Can't figure out if I need a fascia plate or not, might have to call them tomorrow.

Ahh, that might be a little far to go. I feel like I should be able to do it myself, I hope so anyway. 😂 Not sure whether to couple it with a dash cam too. There's so many options on their site, I don't know which to go with!

Has anyone with one of the units from ATD had it fitted and can confirm the Climate Control, Parking Sensors and other things still display?

Is it simply a case of swapping the bt module then? Will it work or is there coding required?
