  1. Insurance job I guess ? Hope it's fixed soon.
  2. Just think how many times you have been on the road / motorway and something as simple as a carrier bag is blown across your path. Bet it certainly wakes you up when the car just slams the anchors on !
  3. £1,200.................Surely that is for the worst case though at 6 months apart (eg Mar 1st-Aug 31st). Therefore other people on this thread have probably hit the nail on the head. Wait till January and probably take a hit around £200 come resale time. Are you really that bothered ? I say get it for Xmas and enjoy !!
  4. This may not be the case as not all cars nowadays have splined shafts. Some just have an hexagonal shaft for example so the steering wheel rotates much further if you move it one position on the shaft.
  5. Roof mounted version ?? http://seat-mii.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories/detail/model=411/category=ROOT-touring/accessory=Bike+Rack/id=13315
  6. Sorry if already posted..................... http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/car-news/consumer-news/84818/mot-test-fail-dpf-removal
  7. Think the 2 Fabias in the background have exactly the same fault on them
  8. I was just thinking this at the weekend when I borrowed SWMBO's Citigo. Radio reception was very poor and crackly even on local radio stations. Was going to mention it to the dealer. Wife doesn't complain as she just listens to music on the PID SD card all the time.
  9. Why would a heated screen be complex to replace ? Phone insurance, get windscreen fitted, pay excess - job done. I've had 2 fitted in my Focus this year due to motorway stone damage. Exactly same procedure to replace as a standard screen. If you have an ordeal getting yours changed perhaps you need to question the insurance company you are using. Just a thought ?
  10. Hi Mick About the same here with 10k on the clock, 13 months old.
  11. Think it has 17 lol !! (inc. the horn)
  12. Yes but the bluetooth has nothing to do with the sim surely ? This is down to the phone name for example.
  13. Looking at your pics, there's no real improvement in beam projection (if that was possible) but the light seems much whiter !!
  14. Fords used them for years and IMHO they're not distracting in those (having had 3 with them fitted). Wonder why Skoda's seem more noticeable, perhaps the angle of the windscreen ?
  15. In post #6 the manual calls them 'rocker switches'. Therefore why not call them 'rocker switches' as that is what they are ?
  16. Pick her up closer to the time she will be finished - no time to watch videos !! Cheaper than retro-fitting Or buy another device that is portable to take in the car with you to watch said videos. Again most probably cheaper than retro-fitting.
  17. On the plus side, if it did freeze it would provide puncture resitance
  18. Running standard yellow ones that look bloody awful lol Edit:: but at least we can see at night now !!
  19. On a side note, I went for Philips Extreme Vision. Very pleased with them
  20. £20 at eurocar parts at the moment !! http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/car-accessories-products/lighting-accessories/upgrade-headlamp-bulbs/?48177019N&0&cc5_847
  21. Isn't green supposed to be the unluckiest colour on the road or something ?
