Read somewhere about someone lacquering over the plasti dip, to good effect apparently. Maybe an option if you want gloss? +1 on warming the can up too. I just put mine on the radiator lol obviously making sure it didn't get toooo hot

I'm wanting to remove the inlet manifold on my car when I fit the egr delete, so I can clean it. So I've been trying to read up on the removal as best as I can, but have a couple of questions. Do I need a new gasket to put on or will the original be ok? And on one of the guides I was reading, it advised getting some damaged bolt removers for the Allen bolts as they can be easily stripped during removal– is this necessary? Has anyone else had difficulty with removing theirs? Thanks

23 five years ncb, just under 1k for me and the girlfriend (who's 20). Admiral/elephant always been the cheapest aswell. Think I may have the mother on as a named driver too, cant remember.

Local Indy quoted me £410 for cambelt, water pump and full service

They fit perfectly under the front seats- just wedge them under the bar that goes accross-job done, no rolling around

Oh right, well the jist I got from the reply was that they were plastic. They also said that the water pump is a special order exchange item, and that they'll need my old one before they give a 'new' one out

I emailed my local stealers for prices on service parts I'll need for my vrs and for a cambelt kit and water pump, and after reading a few posts on here with regards to getting a water pump with a metal impeller etc I asked for a price on one. They emailed back with prices but said they don't sell or advise using pumps with metal impellers because if the impeller was to break, it would 'cause considerable damage to the engine'. I can see where they're coming from but it seems a bit contradictory to what I've read before and surely a metal impeller would be less prone to breaking in the first place, compared to a plastic one? Anyone have any views on this?

Can't really comment about the rain sports in winter conditions myself as I've only had them on a couple Weeks and only had the car just over a month lol. Time will tell though!.....

+1 on uniroyals. Got two from camskill a fortnight ago £130 deliverd. Only pain is getting then fitted, £24 I had to pay for them both. Good tyres though!

Hello hello, just recently bought a black 2005 fabia vrs so I'm trying to work my way through all the informative posts on this great forum to get a few things sorted- like the usual leaky door seals etc. So thought I best sign up and say hi... So, hello! One of my rear speakers isn't working though so I'm going to try and find a replacement and was wondering if anyone on here had a spare one if they've upgraded theirs or what not that they'd like to sell? I'll put up another post in the relevant section shortly aswell. Cheers peeps
