"ljp01 Posted Yesterday, 22:10 View Postg0bgb, on 02 December 2012 - 22:07, said: I use WD 2 TB USB3 drive , main use is video I'm thinking about a MOBO and Chip change; is the higher speed of USB 3 noticable when watching/ using it for video?" Dont know why quote button is not working ! anyway watching video via usb3 makes no difference usb2 is fine even for HD video, however usb3 is much quicker for tranfering large files to or from other devices then if a pc goes down no problem unplug usb , then plug into new pc job done

  9. I think your correct more and more people are choosing cars by road tax and insurance costs , and the tax bands will be looked at in the future, at present my Motorcycle costs more in roadtax than my Car Bike £76 Car £0
  10. Maybe the 1.8 is not so popular in UK because of the higher road tax £170 per year as opposed to £135 for the 1.4 ? and of course Insurance group 22 as opposed to Group 16
  11. I don't get this Fuel costs will only go up , if your used to diesel , petrol will seem very expensive mpg wise ,may as well pay up front for diesel engine and watch fuel costs go though the roof + greenline no road tax, that quite a bit over petrol engine before you start, however if your only going to keep it for a year or 2 diesel may not be so good who knows

  18. Some great Chippys in the North east , nothing worse than walking into a chip shop to see 15 - 20 fish being kept warm in the glass counter , Greenside tyne +wear all fish cooked fresh to order as you walk in, Union Quay North sheilds Fresh fish straight from the quay to the fryer everyday down in midlands rubbish chip shops no fresh fish

  20. with so many systems needing to be spot on before stop/start works i am not suprized , great when it works a pain when it don't do we know if uprated battery and starter are fitted to greenline over other models? I think mine being new and maybe stood on the docks for a few weeks or months the battery was a bit low which caused stop/start to not work , until fully charged, these batteries and starters need to do a graet deal more work than standard hope you get yours sorted soon taximan
  21. Then we have people going hunrgy in the UK , and having to rely on foodbanks to feed thier families http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2012/oct/16/food-banks-trussel-trust-uk-data never mind sending food across the world
  22. Of course we talk about jobs what is a job 12 hours a week at Tesco is not a job no one can live on these type of so called jobs and unless you work 24 hrs a week you cannot have your wage topped up by benifits it used to be 16 hrs so work 23 hrs a week you dont earn enough to live on and no benifits what so ever , so do you take the job or the benifits , all supermarkets seem to be offering only part time work , next time your in one look at the noticeboard for jobs offered,12 hrs 16hrs 20hrs never more than 24hrs this government increased the hours needed from 16 hrs to 24 hours before you can claim anything forcing people to stay on benifit or be worse off How insane is this
