  1. I presume not all insurance comp's ask if you have done a SAC, shop around , all those who ask discount them , My Insurance "the PRU" does not ask , I'm sure it will catch on, then you may as well take the points and pay the £60. cheaper than the SAC

  5. Had my greenline hatch since oct 3 , trip to Newcastle from wolves @75 80 mph 68mpg, on the way back same speed a little more weight and rain about 50% of time 59mpg I find the ride very good , had a ford focus 1.6 tdci zetec before and the octy is a much better ride, and a much less noise in the cabin

  8. greenline comes with no spare and you cannot spec one when ordering, so once i got car, into parts dept and £125 for wheel and tools it was an article on watchdog a few weeks ago , no spare and kit infaltion kit no good
  9. Have looked at these in the past thats a very good price for the 512gb , a great way to speed up your PC
  10. the only safe bet is to have a backup! I learned the hard way, now I have a Clickfree backup drive simple to use , very easy to backup and restore , and has saved my bacon more than once http://www.amazon.co...51299031&sr=8-5 Yes its lots of money but will backup muliti PC'S and mac'S you can never protect from all attacks , only thing you can do that is 100% is backup and restore
  11. I got a PS3 for my son last xmas and a PS Vita for his birthday , the trouble is very few games for the VITA , but what a great bit of mobile kit,, if you just got FIFA13 for PS3 @£43 are you going to spend £33 for the same game on VITA I think not great bit of kit for the kids in the car , software far to much!
  12. stick with wot i've got then ? is it worth having if you have got a touch screen PC?
  13. Just dun my greenline one click all doors open gr8, also lock all doors upon driving off nice Maxidot rules
  14. thanks guys ring the dealer in morning, did try to ajust height which works but ar*e still sunk into seat compared to passenger seat, and a deffo twang and seat base drops 1 inch, i'm told one of the support springs may have become unhooked , speak to dealers tomorrow thanks guys will let you know outcome
  15. Anyone had a problem with drivers seat giving way Driving along and felt a snap in the seat base and my backside dropped about 1 inch , when you get out of the seat its looks fine , press it with your fingers it seems ok , i note two supports run across top of seat under cloth, tried out the passenger seat nice and firm all even , then back to drivers seat backside falling into a hole anyone got any idea's, maybe back to dealer in morning it's only 3 weeks old
  16. Let's be honest cars are getting bigger , parking spaces are getting smaller? large 4x 4 do not realy fit in the bays , does anyone know the size of Tesco parking bays , i bet they are smaller than on street ones
  17. got my focus in 2009 , spare wheel in boot , all my cars prior to this had spare in boot , got my new Octy Greenline and could not spec a spare had to wait until car arrivied then buy spare and tools from dealer cost £125, OK i am happy to change wheel in daytime in dry, at night or in the rain I'll ring the RAC , but if i did not have a spare and tyre shredded then its tow the car miss your flight etc, UNtil recently cars had spare wheels no one had to question it , and by stealth they have been removed , people only find out when they need one Car Makers tell people up front give them the choice problem solved
  18. I've often used ONE FOR ALL http://www.oneforall...iversal-remotes not the cheapest but they will get it working and upgrade to match your gear found in past cheaper ones often only do main brands and cannot be upgraded
  19. Well this saved me from asking the question guys , as i wondered about the " check deadlock," display , why can it not say "goodbye " :wonder:
  20. I note on Watchdog this week a lot of people compaining about how the repair kit is no good and does not work and no spare wheel and so all the breakdown people is tow you away , not much use when your trying to get to the airport ! then I read you cannot spec a greenline with a spare wheel so when car arrives I check it still has wheel well , walk into parts dept and buy spare wheel and tool separate , I just think no spare wheel will bite you in the backside when you least expect it worse is the fact that many people are buying cars and dont know they have no spare
  21. Hi Rainbowfire i would agree with everything you say about ASD (as a parent of a child on the Austic spectrum) But I know newxt to nothing about ADHD anyway we are not sending him to a foreign country that he has never been to to spend 200 or so years in jail not a bad thing
