  1. 8 Ignis? Christ, they're not that amenable. I don't suppose you have experience of fixing Abs faults?
  2. I saw 1 JPS on a black f-type the other day, no gold trimmings though.
  3. Yes as rustynuts says the schematics I've looked at for integrating the two systems off the one boiler thermostatically control the UFH temp independently of the Rads so the 2 systems can run at different temps.
  4. Sorry? You mean issues with the traditional existing rads? The boiler and rads are new and whilst not oversize, they are on the large size for what was needed.
  5. Thanks for that. I must have learnt something already as I understand it all - except maybe how you housed your manifold in the cupboard. I'm going to be quite a bit smaller on size but I'd hope that makes the job easier. I;m not sure what sort of construction I'm getting yet to be honest. I think I've got a builder lined up but I haven't got into that detail yet. One of the things that worries me is the use of a screed and drying times before being able to install the flooring finsh but that's not necessarily a UFH issue. How deep was you final screed and how long did you have to leave it dry?
  6. This is why I want to get it right on paper before getting wrong for real.
  7. Obviously, wet UFH is still up there with other "grand designs" flight of fancy! I don't think an electric system is that practical for such an area although I'm considering it for a small bathroom. UFH is a nice to have but its now or never for me, during the new build or forget it.
  8. I hope 2 million houses get built on green fields over the next 10 years.
  9. Anyone got it? I'm seriously thinking about it for a 40 sq. m kitchen/living extension but have no experience of it. To make matters worse, I want to do the donkey work of installing the piping and insulation, in about 6-8 weeks time... Most of the extension will be new build concrete slab (simple-ish) but approx 5 sq m is existing timber suspended floor (difficult). To keep it simple, I've discounted extending the system to the smaller first floor part of the extension. So a single large zone system (simple) will tie into a traditional central heating system (re-sited combi boiler and approx 10 rads). Central heating system is new and sized to suit extended house - 135 sq m 4 bed - 33kW. The flooring we want changes on a daily basis but is currently porcelain tiles - good for UFH. I think I can justify the requirement for wet UFH but not sure if its worth the cost and trouble against a few awkward looking radiators that don't heat the space evenly.
  10. When you put it like that, it's no surprise it did so well with all those people of an authoritarian bent.
  11. Pretty sure I've seen that and I was next to pink "Alex" at the Woodlands Parkway traffic lights this week. You lose track of all the plates round here.
  12. I can't think of anyone I less want to sit next to on a flight than my wife and kids, even mender above.
  13. The 3g service on giffgaff has been poor for over a year now. When I've asked around other people have had similar experiences with other networks. Not having a 4g phone it's a right pain.
  14. I've got a pair of Oakley normal specs with tinted lenses as I was informed that they can only accommodate a slight prescription in their proper sunglasses. Around - 3 rings a bell as I am unfortunately - 3.25 & - 3.5 :(And Ray Ban are right ****ing me off at the moment as I am waiting for a frame to be re-stocked. It was an 8-10 week wait, 4 months ago. As bad as Skoda.
  15. How is this news? Lotus have been plugging this synthetic (non-bio) hydrocarbon fuel route for years (Flex-fuel Exige?). Its not rocket science. And to be honest it doesn't seem to have much of a future unless you use something like nuclear base load electricity at night. At 160 litres a day, we are many years off this being reality. I'm not expecting Tesla like innovation and speed from Audi. Unlike say the hydrogen fuel cycle, Methanol has the advantage of using lots of existing infrastructure even down to vehicles.
  16. Can you cancel and go to Europe instead? The pound is flying against the euro.
  17. If you travel to the US regularly, you should have been buying the peaks when it goes over 1.6. Wasn't it close to 1.7 recently? Labour/SNP could make things interesting... Edit: ok it was last summer, doesn't time fly when you're busy? But it's been trading in a range for years now, can be worth dipping in when you think the price is fair.
  18. If you think childcare is expensive, try givng up full time work to look after your children and see how much that costs
  19. not with the white bits, no thanks...
  20. I'll pay more attention next time I see one.
  21. ?I've seen a few dark ones but no white ones up in footballer country
  22. Did you use RRG in Stockport? Have you used them or even Colin Appleyard in Ashton for any problems on your previous Suzukis? I've got some brake issues someone needs to look at.
  23. I had a Porsche 928 poster. It was a white car with the funky monochrome chequer board interior. I will own a 928 one day...
