  1. I've done a search and very little has come up,was wondering if anyone has any experience of these shockers? I already have the pro springs on but I'm now deperate for a set of matched shockers,still got some Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket and I'm unsure what to go for.
  2. 99.9% this car was for sale at a skoda dealer early last year,going off the reg number could be an ex skoda uk car.
  3. Another thumbs up for Big Fish at Stokesley,nice smooth map on mine made it much nicer to drive.

I have managed to fit a leather Recaro interior into my firby,just taken my time and followed Pastyboy & Big Deano,s guide,hopefully get the last bit of the interior (the big rear seat backrest) fitted this weekend and get some decent photo,s posted up,my car has factory side airbags & heated seats which i managed to simply plug together without any airbag warning lights appearing on the dash,although the heated seats seemed to be on contstantly with the ignition on!! and had to be disconnected before my trousers caught fire...
  5. I think the problem you have is that your donor Fabia seat frame is from a poverty model classic/comfort and not a Vrs,my seat base on my Vrs has worn through revealing a metal loop similar to the one in your photo.
  6. Owned for 4 years this coming march,longest i have ever owned a car and dont ever want to sell her...even if i get 6 and the bonus ball!!!
  7. It was a finance repo with a blown turbo that went through either Manheim or Bca a few months ago,the car was repainted race blue,think it was black or silver originally,its a total knacker...I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole!!!
  8. I had a genuine under bonnet sound deadening pad fitted to my fathers 1.2 comfort before he took delivery new in 2004,sure it was only £18 and the supplying stealer fitted it for free at the pdi.
  9. It's out of a 53 plate vrs that was on coparts website the other day,suprised its been broken up for spares,was a front end bump but not bad.
  10. 39 years old,2 none fault claims in last 4 years,wife on policy with 3 points and a own fault claim in her own car plus dreaded Sunderland postcode £359 with Directline,payed £270 last year....rob,n barstewards!!!!

  12. Try ringing Skoda uk who will be able to tell you who the original supplying dealer was,the dealer then should be able to help you providing it was serviced by them.
  13. If you are going to get your wheels refurbished i can recommend Romax just down the road at Stockton from us.
  14. Fitted my Whiteline arb last week and still cant believe the difference!Car is sooo much better to drive,mines fitted with Eibach springs & Sachs shocks but this is the best mod i have done so far.

  16. I fitted a Stebel Nautilus horn a couple of weeks ago and im chuffed with it,compact easy to fit and only £19.95 at the moment from Halfords....

  20. Iv got newish Pirelli P zero,s on the front and Goodyear F1,s on the back and my car seems to have a shocking lack of grip in the snow,its so bad i got the bus to work the other week,but soon got fed up with that so i wrestled the wifes beetle keys off her and have been using that instead....
  21. The shock absorbers are unique to the vrs,its classed as having "sports" suspension from the factory,not many companys list a seperate shocker for it,i got my Boge/Sachs ones from GSF at Newcastle,think they were around £32 for the rears & £45 for the fronts each.

I have a 54 plate fabia Vrs that starts and runs perfectly but is flashing up a fault code 18009,i have done the usual searches on here and the net to know avail,a couple of people have said its related to the battery,i have fitted a new Varta battery and cleaned up all the earth contacts that i can find but every time i clear the code it comes back as soon as the car is started.just clicked over the 100,000 mile hurdle with very few faults...any help or ideas would be very welcome.
