  1. We are recalling 1,084 Dunlop SportMaxx GT summer passenger car tires in size 255/40ZR19 100Y XL produced in weeks 37 and 38 of 2015, in order to retrieve 369 tires which were manufactured with an incorrect tread compound. The affected tires can be identified by a DOT number on the sidewall of the tire reading DN5W JC1R 3715 or DN5W JC1R 3815. No other of the company’s brands, products or sizes are affected. The use of the incorrect compound reduces significantly the tire’s wet grip performance which presents a road safety risk. It states they will be replaced free of charge. 4. Looks awesome trevor work of art, a little pocket rocket. And as above states plenty of room for the shopping. Ha ha
  5. I can honestly say i had nothing but praise for them, quality of goods and service. Items always well wrapped and delivery within the week. As of all things companys change and so do attitudes. There is nothing worse than not getting a reply, to faulty or us goods when hard earned cash is spent. I agree the language barrier does not help either, but is easily translated nowadays. They should remember reputations account for a lot. I had email offering 25 per cent off 2 weeks ago, so imagine decline has already started. I think paypal need to reveue payments back also.
  6. Cat repellents work used to race pigeons and can vouch for them. Only thing is if the garden is large you will need more than 1. Old bike inner tubes work cut in half, and make an S shape like a snake. Works on certain cats and is a cheap alternative. Globe balls also work well , frightens them good and proper.
  7. My car is fitted with a camera they may disconnect it, when i had mot in york it was left alone. Nothing to hide i imagine.
  8. Yes i can appreciate that, my car is been picked up and delivered back. I will tell them the day before when they ring up, but people do forget.

  14. Sorry for the mistake, but a stunning how to all the same. Can i ask what phone or camera you use for the pictures. Reason i ask when i try upload pictures they are also to big.
  15. I must say your car looks stunning, which is a credit to you, And agree the calipers look very good. That was a long day waiting for paint to dry for sure. Do you or have you ever coated them with any of the known products.
  16. What paint was used seem like big chunks coming off. Was it hammerite or another brand.
  17. Think marketing has a lot to do with what we buy. Pretty colured bottles fragrances, and the like. We like to try different products makes us feel good, and finding that little gem is wonderfull. Nothing better than compliments on the fruits of our labour. Cost has to come into it somewhere, value for money but every one has there own favourite we always go back to. Reviews and member recomendations also come into it. I must admit i have no bottles or hanging air freshners complete waste of money and stink to high heaven. Can not beat the fresh clean natural smell of a clean car. I use leather products on the seats, and a good all purpose cleaner diluted down on all plastic trim. Never eat or drink in any car iv owned dont smoke either. My favorite wash i always go back to is zymol love the smell and finish it gives.
  18. You need to start with 600 then 1000 1500 2000 3000 . Make sure the hole of the light is opake. Then 2 coats of lacquer or sealant of your choice, amazing results can be had. You dont need to rub to hard just getting a uniform finnish.
  19. H2Go very good and long lasting, and as above claying a must have prep. Have used rain x in the past to much work involved for same effect.
  20. Not enough water so brushed it on the road Lol .
  21. I had to go back next day for the car, it was not there mechanic took it home. That was martin beevers in york, i found it strange the car was not finished i was told. No courtesy car available and i had to get to work. That was the first and probrably last time i go to a dealer for work done. who knows what they get up to when you leave your vehicle. Im not only on about skoda dealers either.
  22. Mechanic in york main skoda dealer, took my Vrs home after cambelt water pump. When he came back said car goes well dosent it. I said what do you mean and he said you know. I went and complained to the manager, about said mechanic taking my vehicle was told its company practice.
