Help needed! I accidentally locked my keys in boot - spare keys are in dash for me to drop in for replacement battery. My car is now out of action - roadside assistance couldn't break in to rescuse keys (maybe good news!!) my Skoda dealer ordered and provided a replacement flip key (no fob) at £55 - this turns barrel but nothing else happens - so car is still grounded - any advice as I need my wheels back!!

I would have thought the key blade would have allowed you to unlock the door.

If it get's really desperate and nobody can get you in you may have to consider a window.

Roadside should have been able to get you in. I had a mk2 courtesy car the keys ended up in the boot and they RAC guy managed to get in. I won't post up how for obvious reasons

I have a spare key for my car that is just a key, no fob and i use it to lock the car with the engine running and let it warm up on the drive on winter mornings, i can always get back in and open the car up from cold with it when its dead locked, so yours should work assuming its been cut right, all it does is open the doors, you cant start the engine with it

did a similar thing with me focus estate while on holiday in newquay, fortunately the window was open a crack, and managed to rescue the keys with a tent pole used to fish them out,

you'd have thought they'd have come up with a system by now that prevents you from locking the car when it detects the key is in the car but not in the ignition
