Mine won't be DSG but I'm eager to try my new CD TDi vRS

Hope it wont have any early engine bugs

Still no news or road tests?

Mike

I'm sure some garages should have them physical by now, think they where build week 27 when we could first order them.

My VRS Tdi (non dsg - new CRD) was build week 23 or 24 and arrived today!!!

So maybe another 3/4 weeks......

Buster let me know what you think as I think I must have got the Last PD engine but you got the 18" alloys etc thrown in and I also managed to negociate a bit of a mod which won't yet be available on the CRD engine. I'm interested because I'll be changing mine every year so the next step is the crd

DSG+VRS, not many gallons to the mile I guess!

my crap grammer

I'm sure it will be pretty good on fuel given the performance.

As for road tests, I'm suprised no one has written anything about it yet as it does drive very well. I drove one in Germany recently and it the engine is a little smoother than the PD version and the DSG gearbox is a joy.

I very much doubt you would be dissapointed if you ordered one.

getting mine on wednesday :)

Have you got your car then ?

You must be the First CR TDi

How is it

Why on earth would you say that?

DSG gives similar fuel economy to the normal stick shift. Quoted figures for my normal TDi were 45 compared to 47 mpg. I got 43.62 over my first 14619 miles, driven pretty hard. Not measured in detail recently but on board computer usually gives 50 or thereabouts for the average economy.

The Skoda web site suggests average economy for the new CR170 as 49.6 and the DSG version as 47.1
