I have just put the stock radio back in my old car as i need to sell it after getting my lovely VRS. The prblems is i don't have the code to unlock it, i called the dealer i got it from and they wanted to charge me £25! Is this excessive and why won't they give it to me (I bought the car from them, how doesn't that include a radio code?). A bit random, but your thoughts would be welcome.

Sometimes the radio will come on after a short wait. If you do need the code then yes they are at liberty to make a charge.

I have some stuff off the web that allegedly will give some radio codes. Never used it though.

No i have been for a little drive and no luck with that one, did unlock it though after i had entered a few too many wrong codes
