Does anyone know where i can get a clutch for my vRS. Apart from paying around £600 (inc fitting) from the stealers ive been quoted £800 :eek: for a Sachs Uprated Clutch.

Car is Stage 2 Mapped and im getting Clutch slip even in 6th gear. Its getting worse only used to happen at around 3k rpm on full throttle now happening around the 2k mark on part throttle:mad:. Ive got a few long drives coming up soon and dont wanna get stranded.

Anyone know of a cheap one anywhere??

ECS tuning (in the US) have some. It's listed as a MkV Golf GTI, but it's the same thing. Approx US$400 and they will deliver worldwide. How much of the £600 is for fitting though?

Push the boat up and import a SPEC clutch, and get a diff while you are at it! :P

MRX - about £300 is fitting for the OEM

Tom - Ive done 17.5k but it started going around 15k. Only does it with the Map turned on so not as if i can get it sorted under warranty either :(
