Hmmm tuning box

Iv'e fitted one of these 'dragonperformance' tuning boxes onto my fabia vrs,mainly 'cus I can't afford a remap at present,but also worried that it will show up during the warranty period if any faults occur. Tarar warranty!

So the tuning box apparently doesn't show up on the diagnostic equipment,assuming you've taken it off before you go into the dealer.

Not overly pleased with it however. Been in touch via e mail,and they responded very quickly and have asked me to return it for checking and or replacing.

It seems to create 'steps' or amplifying turbo boost dramatically. Will give a very sudden whack of power at app 2300rpm.,then just as dramatically switch off..or so it seems.. at app 3000 thus leading to jerky progress.Starting to get on my wick a bit now,hence the complaint to them.

Tried an identical car with a tuning box from rossiters,alledgedly boosting bhp to 178,and it was very smooth and progressive too.The price though!
