Knockhill Motorfair 2008

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Myself and Skodagirl1985 decided to head up to Knockhill today for the annual motorshow. Not the best one I have been to as it seemed there was not many cars to see and the crowds were quite small but none the less I enjoyed myself, spent most of the time on the Skoda stand.

Here are some pics of the day.

Did you take these pics early on? It looks like hardly anybody went!!

Some good pics there  and some nice looking motors. Not sure about the Kuga though ...

Still undecided about whether or not to go tomorrow, I guess i'll just decide in the morning.

Thanks for sharing the pics :)

SWMBO has a 500, great car to drive, its only the 1.2 pop, but goes ok...eventually!

Don't think I did.

Quick questions for those that have been to knockhill before or shot a race elsewhere

Where is the best place to stand for photo's at knockhill?

Also am I best at outside or inside of a corner?

We're off to the racing there on 26 April, Scottish Championship Car Racing as a warm up for the BTCC in August. I'll be using a 18-200mm lens, don't have anything longer, will it be ok, or would I be worth getting a 70-300?

Any other local knowledge, like where to park! would be appreciated

Thanks
