A3

Featured Replies

see me a new A3 yesterday and noticed the badge on the back

3.2 quattro

gotta get that in the new octavia, maybe a turbo or 2 on top aswell

Same engine as the R32 with the new Haldex 4WD system that the Mk5 Golf will have.

And the new RS3 will have that engine with a turbo and direct fuel injection.

We are told the RS3 will be TWIN turbo - although I'm not really sure there is room! vehicle will have direct injection, although will not be Full FSi i.e won't use the stratified injection that run of the mill FSi's use.

Although they are getting better at packaging - you've only got to look at the RS6 - we've just had the engine and gearbox out of one to replace the gearbox - you only really see the full picture when its all on the floor.

It's best part of a day to get it out as a lump - then best part of a day to change the gearbox(manifolds & Turbo's have to come off) then another day to put it back -- and thats when you've done it before

It's OK just make sure it's less than 3 years old and has less than 60K on the clock - then its all under warranty.............

...... apart from the service bills........

Service every 10K - approx

Small peice of useless info ----- the Audi RS6,currently the most powerfull road car Audi have ever built uses........... Pre AVS PD Diesel Oil !!!!

And now has 470bhp as an option. (I think)

As a final swan song for the RS6 - Audi decided to release the RS6 Plus, using a different exhaust and engine management remap engine output has increased to 470Bhp+

This final addition also boasts black chrome exterior trim and a choice of three exclusive colour schemes.

Each car will have a plaque to show its exclusivity.... no more than 999 will be made.

100 will be making there way to the UK --- ALL SOLD.

Audi UK are currently trying to secure more -- seeing as the UK was one of the biggest buyers of the RS6 - you would think that the factory would send more

A chipped Octavia will keep pace with a 3.2 A3, even in the wet. However, common sense prevailed before I reached license-loss territory.

Three grand for a service is just ridiculous. It's 5% of the vehicle's value! I mean, that's like paying

The actual service only part of that lot is about
