How do you get rid of stickers?

Featured Replies

My local dealer (who are very good ) placed one of their stickers in the centre of the top edge of the rear screen.

The sticker is not huge, however, it does intrude into my vision when I look through the rear view mirror.

My better half tells me that I am turning into a grumpy old man : that said I really would prefer not causing any awkwardness with the local dealer (who are very good:thumbup:), but, how do I remove the sticker without causing damage to the heated rear screen?

I used my wife's care as a test bed for various products but none of them appear to work. The sticker clings like a limpet to rock.

Any suggestions?

p.s. ignore me playing with the icons...

Air dryer works if you just warm it up within reason, mine is in the middle bottom so dosent really create a problem,

I take off ANY dealer sticker, cant stand the bloody things :thumbdwn:

As for removing it you should be able to just peel it off with no problems but if it does prove to be a bit stuborn then heating it gently with a hairdryer as previously mentioned will do the trick

Finally, you're not a grumpy old man ............................. just normal ;)

If it's gone hard then the servisol label remover does the job well :)

sticky labels that get elsewhere and leave orid lil marks can be vamoshed with a lil of the mrs nail varnish remover lol thats wot we use to say in the hardware store back in the day lol maybe it will work maybe it wont lol but woman usually have it so its free

free lol :orb_jacks

You can also try to remove any remaining glue with WD-40. It works pretty good :).

Meths... Hic!

Use a Hairdryer
