Alloy help, wil a 8x15inch with 25 offset fit fabia?

Featured Replies

ive got my old tyres of my old alloy wheels, 195/45/15 and ive seen some lovely wheels, im keeping the make quiet, as ive not seen 1 set on a skoda yet! but i wanted to know can i make either a 7inch or 8inch alloy with a 25mm offset fit? ive been told they will fit but was advised the arches should be rolled which i dont want to do

Any help on this? ive heard that your ment to go for a 32 to 38mm offset, so does 25mm make it stick in the arch more or stick out more? i dont understand the offset thing very well

Regards

Dan

No. Sorry

0 is the wheel center line, and the bigger the number the further the wheel sits in the arch,

My compos were et35 and they sat level with the arch on the front, so unless you want your wheels to stick out of the arch by 10mm then no they wont fit..... (and having any tread sticking out from the arch is illegal)

thanks for the replies guys, i understand completly now, i had a suspicion they would stick out to far and be illegal. But all is not lost! i have found they can be ordered custom from the original manafactures with an offset from between 25 to 32, so im in luck just. ill have to find out how much damage that will do to my walllet!
