I'm looking into getting some black hose form Arco (maybe very cheap) but just need to check some finer points out.

If people would like a difference colour to match 'hoses' in their engine bay then we can try to get a better price from a supplier including fittings if possible.

Jaymd - Blue or Black (undecided) hoses if we go down this route

Clive would a 'Y' shaped connector be better than a 'T' shaped one?

Depends where you plan to put the catch can :)

Not quite sure what samco would give me extra though mate

It's bad enough paying that much just so it can be red as well I spose lol

Upto you what you want or what you want to spend :D

if you have samco it gives you 2bhp :P

and i paid:rolleyes: 0 :P

no not really if you have it mounted like mine the T piece is better for that as you are getting rid of the lower pipe so the angle can be changed to your liking;)

p.s baileys charged me £10 posted made the next day for me

Yeah, I know, that wasn't the point I was making.

If there was something more beneficial to be had from having Samco then fine but it's bad enough paying a lot more just so it's red.

Just depends on how much you want to pay and what you want.

Or be like Clive :D

I'm after black hose for mine, if there is any way I can help with getting these parts then point me in the right direction and I'll hop to it :D

I am after blue hoses.

Up for any group buy on these too.

Shiny!

I think the Saikou Michi ones are better - mainly because they have 19mm inlet and outlet to match the pipework.

And I'm not so keen on the chromey bling.

Agree those inlet and outlet are to small.

i replaced the upper pipe to Y piece shown on the right of the pic:thumbup:

I found out last night that our suction pump/breather system is different to the normal one shown. The vacuum booster and breather systems are totally separate on the RS AUQ. We have a hose running direct from the T-piece top outlet (with the one-way valve in) to the inlet manifold (the inlet manifold has an additional tapping), just like the AGU.

Instead of the breather hose connecting to the underside of the suction pump, we have a hose running from the turbo intake hose to this connection. Supplying fresh instead of oily air to the suction pump. Can only be a good thing! Can't believe I only just spotted this.

Anyway, back on topic........

I located the T-piece last night to see how much room there is down there. Luckily it's at the gearbox end of the engine so access is fine when the engine covers are removed. There is also room to run a hose straight off a joiner from there.

I haven't sourced anything yet, so if Jay's up for another group buy I'll have:

-2 metres of black 19mm ID oil resistant hose

-1 19mm joiner

-1 19mm T-piece or Y-piece

I'm not paying £50 a metre for hose!! Might be able to 'acquire' some this weekend actually....

Haha $235!! That's mad. Slightly over-engineered me thinks.....

Auto Performance Silicone Hoses
