Highest Mileage Octy II?

Featured Replies

Who on here has a high mileage Octy II , and what has needed to be done to if after the warranty ran out?

Mine's on 52k now (06 plate) so it won't be much longer till my warranty is up.

13,000 miles in 3 months, i should stop driving so much, car will be worth nothing in 3 years. :thumbdwn:

Mine is Dec 2004 (1.9TDi Elegance with Sat Nav) and has just cracked 100,000. It runs better than new quite honestly although it won't be worth much!

Traded mine in last week. It was a 2.0 TDi Elegance with about 56.5k miles .

Work during the warranty period included the DMF flywheel recall, a new windscreen (delamination), new ashtray cover (spring / catch broke) and new centre cubby cover (chrome coming off).

Since it was 3 years old (Oct 07) it has had new rear pads and discs and the front ones were showing as being due soon (although they had a bit let).

Other than that no major problems at all.

2.0Tdi elegance DSG, january '06, currently on 160,000kms, new flywheel and new turbo, both warranty at about 120,000kms. It has had a remap since new so I suppose thats not bad !!

That's not bad at all.

How long did the brakes last , assuming they have had something done by now?

Impressive mileage, my september 2005 estate is on 51K miles.
