Hi!

This is my first post to this forum, and probably for some Briskoda veterans and other "car tuners" my question might be rather basic one.

I'm about to change the oil to my Roomster (1.6 16V petrol) even though it is not yet time for the first service (driven about 16 000 km, first service around 30 000 km or a tad earlier - my Roomster has a variable service interval). I already lifted the car with a spider jack and took a look under the engine, but amazingly enough could not locate the oil drain plug. I located some sockets underneath, but I did not have the courage to start opening up something randomly...

So does anyone know where is the oil drain plug in a Roomster 1.6 petrol engine?

Another question related to the oil filter. There is a cylindrical enclosure a bit down from the oil filler (on top of the engine). It has the same manufacturer logo ("Hengst") as the oil filter has that I bought from my Skoda service. I guess that the new filter goes there as the size of the enclosure quite well matches the size of the oil filter. But just to be sure, am I right on this one?

I should think the sump bung is a 19mm bolt towards the back of the sump. And yes the oil filter is under the left front of the engine cover. 32 or 36mm nut on the top of it.
