Red Lights

Featured Replies

Something i done ova the weekend was put some red neons above the foot rest, halfords special so didnt set me back anything to drastic. I thought the red would match with the door pannels light :D (sorry on the blur of photo tho)

not my cup of tea but as long as you like them,

maybe blue next time, i always think blue and silver go together better,

i was about to buy blue but the door lights were red, so i went with red, but i like them, but its easy to take down if i change my mind. thanks on ur input though, my friend got blue ones on a rover 25, i didnt want to copy off him so went for red.

Not bad at all....... Do they come on when you open the doors? Or are they on all the time? Also do you know if they did them in green???

Always fancied some green footwell lights for when the doors open but never actually did anything about it.

Cheers

Dave.

no green ones :( they plug into cig lighter, so stay on all time until you plug it out, they flash aswel and do other patterns. Glad u like though

Think it woulda be smart if you could have "hard wired" them in so when the door opens, the foot well lights come on.

Possibly, my dads an electrician so i might ask him, where would you wire it to? the interior light?

The interior light or the wee button on the door jam? Think, if i remember rightly, that works the interior light, so it acts like an "on off" switch

Something worth looking into, be a little fiddley runnin a wire from the door to link the 2 floor lights up, but ill see my dad lol :)

Use the wire that goes to the light on the front door - then they would go on and off with the door opening and closing. It should be easy enough to hide the wires behind the carpet.
