Passenger door leaking water from bottom?

Featured Replies

I've noticed that the front passenger is leaking water from the bottom when opened even on dry days.

When you open the passenger door you get a dribble over the sill and then dripping from the bottom of the door, from between the door facing and the metalwork.

I think this is similar to the issue relating to rear doors that mentions sealant issues. Has anyone found this problem with their A5?

I've noticed the same on mine only once, after hard rain and car parked for many hours. When I open the door, a lot of water went out from the bottom of the passenger door. Later found on this forum that it was normal, as that's the way water drains from the door. If the water gets in your car, visit VRStu page for details about how to fix it.
