Custom Code Remaps

Featured Replies

Anyone on here used these? JBS are offering these at 40% off at GTi International which would make it about £300 for the VRs.

(Cue Steve to say 'you pay yer money you take your chances'...!)

Had one on a Fabia vRS - excellent upgrade - very smooth and much more linear power delivery, transformed a good car to something special. Had a few problems with my "local" agent on installing it that JBS HQ sorted in a very committed and professional manner.

I wouldnt due to personal experience but plenty of happy people

It's people's personal experiences I'm after ;)

I know EddyH had his 4x4 remapped by JBS Custom Code Stage3.

Try seatcupra.net as there are a lot of members on there that have CC software.

I have been looking at maybe getting stage 2 done on my mk1 vrs.

You do know about the offer at GTi International that will be on?

Does seem like a good offer at GTi but I have no experience or know anyone that's had a Custom Code remap for the TFSI.

I do seem to recall though that CC withdrew the software for the TFSI soon after launch but I could be wrong :o

Oh, you pays yer money etc. etc. ;)

They are currently making a seat Leon demo car.

If i was looking for software for TFSI then i would want a demo 1st in same car if possible, maybe from a few member who has had theirs remapped.

My brother had stage 1 on his MK3 Ibiza. Had it RR'd and make 167bhp.

Phoned JBS for their advice as its way off what it should be and all they did was say change the MAF as there was nothing wrong with the map without even looking at it.

Now i will admit that i know nothing about remapping a car but to dismiss him over the phone is bad bad customer service IMO. They could have atleast offered to look at the map before dismissing it.

So glad i made the drive over to Brum to get mine done. Least at P-Torque they made time for you to ask questions about mapping etc especially when people have had problems

They are doing the maps on the CC site for little more. Including the mobile come to you service apparently at no extra cost.

Custom-Code 30% Discount Offer

We are proud to announce for 2008, for a limited period only we are discounting the Custom-Code product by a massive 30%!

C-C is the most advanced performance software available, the smoothest, most powerful and most reliable software on the market today and now also by far the best value for money.

For example:

NON-PD TDi and NonDBW 1.8T: PD TDi and DBW 1.8T:

RRP £352.50 with 30% off £246.75inc VAT RRP £446.50 with 30% off £312.55inc VAT

I had my 2003 Leon Cupra remapped with CC and it's bl**dy fantastic. The increase in torqe is phenomenal and the power delivery is really smooth through all gears and the whole rev range.

It's currently runing just over 225bhp with a CC remap, FMIC and forge dump valve.

I say, Go for it!!

Bear in mind that the OP has a Octy vRS with the 2.0 TFSI engine & there are not too many that have had a CC remap on that afaik.

Apparently JBS claim they can get 280-290bhp out of a 2.0TFSI with just a pump upgrade and a map

Of course they can! :P

How many times. Revo is the best route to take with a tfsi IMHO. If a deal is to

be had elsewhere then go for it, but, I can't recommend revo enough :)

God I was having a bad day until I read that. Thanks, I needed that.:D:rofl:
