Hi All. I'm now on my 2nd Skoda. The 1st was a Felicia hatch 1.3 LXi in red. Cheap and Cheerful for work, but it didn't have 1st gear for 12 mths. That was ok though. Then on the darkest, foggyest night in Febuary, 20 miles from home, the gear linkage snapped. it was a long journey home in 2nd gear ( with many a loud inpatient car operative getting the finger). so I then bought a lovely Felicia Estate 1.3 LXi plus Moravia in silver. Since feb I've replaced the temp sensor, the offside brake caliper slider and the offside driveshaft ( cv joint gone square courtesy of a split gaiter). But thats ok as I had them off the Red Felly. Good idea to keep for spares.

Anyone know about the Moravia, as all I can find, is that is an area in Czech.

Best wishes Boris :)

Hello and welcome.

Hi and welcome,

don't know more than you about Moravia, but it's intriguing that Skoda labelled a model "Moravia" since the Skoda factory's home town, Mladá Boleslav, is in the neighbouring Czech province of Bohemia  Well, maybe the sales promotion guys thought that a "Bohemian" car didn't sound right :D

Hello :)

Hi and welcome.

The Moravia was a Limited Edition model, in Estate guise only and had alloy wheels and Moravia door badges as standard over the standard spec.I think it was only available for a short period in 1996/7.They are very rare and were only available in certain colours.

Never heard of that spec before... Hope you're enjoying it!!

I think they did make a Bohemia spec one iirc!

Only found out about the "Magic" spec the other day when i saw one in ASDA... liked the alloys on it!

I will stick with my l&k for now though! lol

Thats right, the Bohemia was based on the GLXi and had colour-coded bumpers, electric front windows, 5-spoke alloys and a rear tailgate top spoiler, again 1996/7.

Romantic Red, Candy White, Royal blue and 'Kermit' Green were the available colours.

Your L&K was the ultimate Felicia though, always wanted one at the time but couldn't afford one.£9999 for hatch and £11499 for estate.( I have a very very rare Felicia L&K 6 page brochure):D

The Magic was available again as hatch or estate and had alloys, electric windows etc and was only done in granite grey.IIRC, £8999 and £9699 but not 100%.

The other was the Felicia Pacific, only done in Lagoon Blue metallic.Had the Fun Pick-Up Frog logo all over its blue seats and door cards!!Again a 1999 release.I think £8299 hatch, £8999 Estate.

Incidentally, theres a L&K hatch on ebay at the moment, but advertised as a blue GLXi.

There you go, Limited Edition Felicia history lesson over!:D
