As the title says..i've ordered maxidot on my new octy vrs dsg, purely on what peeps have said in the various threads..however, can someone explain exactly what it does...pics would be a bonus..thanks in advance

Look on my Octavia site and you'll see some pictures in the telephone section.

Maxidot is a full size computer as apposed to the half size as standard. It gives you access to some additional menu's.

you can change a few things via the maxidot display view your radio station, mpg, average speed, distance left in tank of fuel. play about with some of the settings.

Have a search on this section of the forum as there is stacks of stuff about maxidot.

It looks nice on the dash - far better than the red maxidot system in the VW's.

ive experienced the red vw one in the golf, not bad, but i prefer mine in the octy.
