yellow octavia

Featured Replies

Hi all

I am looking to buy a yellow octy vrs but i have a question first.

I have been looking for a yellow octy vrs and i am unsure whether my eyes deceive me or whether it is merely down to the quality of some photos on auto trader.

I am of the opinion that cars on an 02 plate are a darker and less attractive colour that an 04 plate. Is this the case? or are they actually the same shade of yellow. has there been a change in the paint colour between 02 and 04? or are all yellow octy exactly the same paint code / colour

can anyone answer this for me?

thanks Lee.

I'm not aware of any change in paint colour during those years. My understanding is they will all be Lemon Yellow (Code 8Q8Q or 6260).

Sprint Yellow (Code F2F2 or 6226) replaced this, but I think only on Mk II Octavias and the later Mk 1 Fabias.

You can ask the seller to check the sticker in the boot which should show the paint code, and then compare it with the list of touch-up paints and codes on the Skoda Accesories site - ?koda Accessories

Photo quality / colour does vary a lot depending on lighting conditions and the type of camera used.

PS Your dad isn't a Burnley fan called Philip is he?
