you can get fmic's very cheaply but then you need all sorts of piping and possibly modify the car and then find a way of mounting it. most go with custom made items as they simply bolt up and tend to come with all the fixtures and fittings needed.

and an after market one to fit the octavia will probably be a lot larger than a generic one that you can fit.

Piping and fixtures all sorted and worked out, intercooler core size 550x140x65mm (alot smaller than the forge so less lag). should only need to cut a tiny bit around the radiator shroud to get the pipes through, just like the ABD.

my proalloy one is quite large and creates no lag.
