Exactly. It's not a con. He's selling an item at his chosen mark up. If you want to buy it for that price, buy it. If you don't, you don't. Yes, it's expensive, but he's not committing fraud or anything, is he?

Ooo - I once got £22 for an MK1 MR2 thermostat on ebay that cost me £8 or something from halfords! I even stated the code and that I'd got it from Halfords... :thumbup:

it is a tad expensive i am gettimg mine supplied and fitted from jbs in chesterfield for £52 which i am happy about cos there is no way i am fitting it on my own lol!!!

This is becoming all too common place on ebay now..... people are paying stupid prices for stuff they can get either locally or online for a lot cheaper.

I've just been looking for a TomTom 520 or 720 to replace my old Go300.... I knew you could get a brand new 520 for around £155-160 delivered as the new 530 is out now so thought i'd look for a used one for less than £100 etc..... The cheapest one i saw was £120 used..... Most were going for about £130-150 and some new one's boxed/sealed were going for £160-180!!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Needless to say i didn't bother with ebay and i've just got one today for £158 brand new from ebuyer...... Along with a couple of 8gb SDHC cards for our camera & video camera.

It just shows how blinkered some people are..... If it's on ebay it MUST be cheaper than everywhere else!!! :rolleyes:

1/2hr or so labour doesn't seem to bad to me, plus it means you don't have to mess about beneath the car - not everyone can be bothered with that tom-foolery :)

I wanna buy one for mine, but the nearest seat dealer is about 40miles away, maybe I can pick one up on ebay... ;)
