I am a Skoda Dealer in India and have an Octavia II Amb. I wanted to know how to change the standard Minidot display to Maxidot.. I can source the Dashpod but have no clue about coding it.. since Skoda India does not give us the procedure.

I have the VAS 5051/5052B (Skoda's equivalent of VAG COM) as well as VAG COM software and cables from Ross tech.

Also, would it be possible to swap a my Minidot to a Used Maxidot Display...

Please help if possible.

Use the VAS tool and follow the guided functions for swapping the dashpod, just as you would if you were swapping the dashpod under warranty.

As Manny says the VAS GFS is ideal for making the change. You will need the 4 digit SKC for both or be able to get them online via VAS.
