Three button remote

Featured Replies

Just a quick thought...

Anyone know if it's possible to use one of the VAG three button remotes with the Octy vRS and get the remote boot release button functioning? I was just thinking it'd be kinda handy.

Obviously you'd need a solenoid to pop the boot, but is there the functionality in place to add one already built into the locking system? Didn't know if this might be something that could be switched on using VAG-COM or whether it's impossible.

Any thoughts?

Don't know if it's possible.

I still think think it's one of Skoda's strangest ideas having the three button remote on the Furby Vrs but not on the Octy Vrs. When I'm driving the OCty I always stand there like a lemon pressing a none existant button.

Somebody asked whether the same thing could be done for the Fabia a bit back, since the Elegance model has it whilst the other in the range don't. This would however have required the elegance model ECU to be installed. Don't know if it is the same for the Octavia.
