MPG, Millers + a stupid mistake = surprise

Featured Replies

The only way i could explain a difference is that the temp of the fuel might have a slight effect on the level sensor. The expceted thing would be it showing less in the morning because the fuel has had time to cool down and contract. This would be exacerbated by the way the fuel system works aswell (circulating unused fuel from the engine bay back to the tank, hance a lot of threads about the fuel cooler mounted underneath the car).

BUT, this flies in the face of your claims of the gauge showing MORE fuel in the morning rather than less.......

You have a magic car that makes fuel as it drives!!! Can i buy it off you??!! Hehehe :o)
