Bell insurers

Featured Replies

Time to insure both my car and SWMBO's. Renewal for my polo from Admiral is 327 quid, their subsidury Bell have quoted 207 quid for the same level of cover. Are they any good?

Bell are quite good, same as most mainstream insurers really, they will do anything possible to get out of paying when the time comes. Generally the cheaper they are the harder the claim process, in my experience anyway.

Cheers. Admiral were really cheap last year, but have hoiked up the premium by 100 quid for some reason. I did have a non fault claim which they've claimed back from the 3rd party, but not sure why it's increased so much.

Admiral = Bell = Elephant. All much of a muchness tbh.

I am insured through bell, no issues so far.

Thats cos they are the same comapny. I was with Admiral for a few years, now with Bell because I like the Flexi Bell policy. The Admiral group has always been cheapest for me

Welcome to the insurance "random number generator".

A few years ago I changed company and got a 35% reduction in premium (I was the guy who "changed companies and saved £130"), lower excesses, and had business and hospital stay cover added to my policy at the same time!

This has happened to me this year.

Renewal has gone up by £100 with a non fault claim.

Time to shop around again!

have you checked the excess? When i got a quote the price sounded amazingly cheap untill i realised what id have to pay if i crashed etc

Try Privilage. I got a shock how cheap it was when I was getting quotes for the 130i!
