Andy - that videos great. I'll have to find that road surface like sandpaper before traffic lights and give it a go. I can't aford petrol now so the back end will be light :D

Where do you think he's sleeping tonight?! My new brakes have got his bed!

they're pure automotive p0rn

One thing that about upgrading your brakes, do you ever get worried that if you make an emergency stop or just brake a little hard on the road that the person behind you is likely togo into the back of you as they can't brake as hard?

Yep!!!!!!

It's a gamble you take I guess. I'd rather be able to avoid something in front of me i.e. stupid child, dog, car pulling out etc....... Then I’d worry about what's behind.

I do however consciously keep an extra close eye on how close someone is behind me.....I've had years of practice though making sure I’m not being followed by the rozzers:D

They are better for getting rid of the heat build up too

hows that work then? id have imagined solid centre discs would have been better at dissipating the heat rather than having to transfer it to the ally bell, even though ally is a good conductor of heat

Think back of the rotor too :) More air = cooler running

Im very jealous.

The aluminium is better at disappating heat than steel. On very large rotors (330+ etc), there is also a significant weight saving to be had.

aLSO DEPENDS ON THE ROTORS AND WHAT ANGLE THE VANES ARE AT.
