Anyone tried one of these

Featured Replies

Yes, at Star Performance, Jim put one on his Leon, seemed to make a noticable difference in throttle response, but because it wasnt my car its hard to offer any hard facts other than that.

Seemingly not suitable for TDi DBW though.

There was a lot on cupra net about them a while ago.

Appears to change the resistance on the DBW throttle so it has a smaller travel to give full output. So half throttle becomes full bore.

Those that had it said it felt great, those that hadn't slagged it off cause all it does is shorten the pedal response.

does seem like the emperors new cloths... wonder what it does to mpg?

Sounds exactly like a tuning box.

Good price if it does do the same thing though

Hmmm, I have enough trouble controlling the revs with full pedal travel let alone half.

Like mentioned a few people over on SCN have had then, but a good few have now sold them for whatever reasons.

Does it wedge underneath?
