All of the VAG range have the cargo net, keep an eye out.

I'm sure someone will give you the part number if you ask nicely.

Can I have the part number, pretty please :D

Mine is a MkI so the previous owner may have kept it.

Does the strap not foul the subs when they are playing ?

Looks mighty close.

Sorry to sound persistant, but is it a few mm away from when they are not playing or when at full excursion on a bass heavy track ?

Sorry, there is a plastic surround which it sits mm's away from. The sub cone sits behind this.

There should be enough room for it, any ways it's not for anyone else to hear......it's for Matt time ;)

you might wish you never asked

Fingers are killing.

Stage 1 complete, got the power lead through the firewall.

did you run the power cable on the battery side of the car and the audio cables on the driver's side? Just wondering as you hear a lot of people saying this needed in order to avoid interference...?

And if you didn't, what's the interference like? did you use any additional tools trics to minimise it?

Planning on doing the same you see :D

Ran everything down the passenger side, no problems at all.

oh yeah, forgot to update you:

30 Amp 8AWG Power lead runs from battery to pollen filter, into grommit, behind glovebox, along passenger door sill, towards back, comes straight where the cd player sits.

Which has been replaced by a WCC (Orion make these) 5001 Mono Amplifier.

Connected to a WCC 10'' sub.

The whole operation took me 2 weeks of fiddling, but it was instructing and while the sun was out, with a beer, well, happy days really.

All equipment was bought from Caraudiosecurity, charged £25 for next day delivery (ouch) but all was nicely wrapped and a FLI cabling kit was included.

Non interference detected though the power and audio cabling run together. Ground loop isolator bought just in case.

HU is the kenwood 5041, which has a modesT 10A fuse, which drives the OEM front speakers and a BT extension. So far, not been able to fault the front speakers,...weird
