felicia vibration

Featured Replies

Hi This is the first time I have contacted, can anyone help. I have a Felicia est 8yrs old. Just been serviced and MOT now has developed an intermittent alarming vibation above 50mph - not a wheel balancing issue, not a dragging brake, no hot hubs, can be induced by reducing engine load gently, not affected by braking or dipping clutch. Garage said maybe differential locking problem - but no problems cornering even on full lock. Vibration is occurring when driving in a straight line but sixty/seventy miles can be driven without incidents, only vibrates for short periods does not damp out just suddenly returns to normal. Help or ideas Please.

Hi, you may well need to post in the Felicia section to get more responses. Have you checked that the rubber blocks that are wrapped around the driveshafts are fee to move?
