Has anyone commited to a new Superb yet, or have you got a pretty good idea of what you want and just want to wait to see one in the flesh?

I'd like to know which model will be the one everyone will be wanting to see first? S,SE or Elegance.

Think a diesel DSG in elegance would be nice.

As soon as Skoda finalise the option prices and fleet discounts, then I'll be ordering one.

It will be an Elegance, but still unsure about the 1.8TSi 160 or the 170TDi.

I think I probably should have ordered a couple a few weeks ago, but kept putting it off until the following day, and then not doing it.

Slight change of subjuct, but I've just seen a VW Caddy done like a Touran but with sliding back doors, from around 15.5k iirc, could be another option.

I have a leased Superb and looking to lease via my company a 2.0 TDi SE. problem I am having is the latest data from the leasing company pitches tat model on a par - leasing cost wise - with A4's and 318d beamers. I can only assume that the prices have reached the lease company but not any discounts. Anyone else looking at the leasing path via a 3rd party lease company and with any experience on lease costs of the Superb 2? I am hanging on to see if common sense prevails soon - otherwise the uplift is way more than i will pay and I will have to swap to another brand

Having spoken with our Skoda business sales manager, I can tell you that fleet discounts and option pricing have not yet been finalised. CAP (who provide this data to most leasing companies) have not yet received the figures from Skoda.

I'm told they should be available in the next week or so.

In the meantime, I would take any quotes with a pinch of salt (unless they come from Skoda).

On a related note, if Drummond28 is reading this, how did you manage to order a car, when options pricing is not yet available? None of our fleet dealers is taking customer orders yet because of this. (They have ordered their demonstrators, though).

Hi Bagpuss My dealer had the options list and price nearly 3 weeks ago when I went to see him. I was informed that delivery would be around the proposed release date of 18th September. I dont know if that helps. As I am a private buyer would that be different to a leasing or fleet purchase?:confused:

You will probably have the car on time, but we don't have the full options list just yet just a general idea.

personal car bought by me just over £24k all toys except window blinds and tinted windows, had parking assist etcp ut on and also the solar sunroof crean leather interior.

In the end, I couldn't afford the DSG on my lease allowance. I would have ended up paying nearly £100/month out of my own pocket. As it is, I'm going to have to cough up nearly £50/month, but it will be worth it.
