Request for Superb II sub-forum

Featured Replies

Just been reading requests in another thread for a new sub-forum just dealing with the 'new' Superb.

I've dropped an e-mail to Colin, asking him about it.

If you think this is a good idea (or bad) idea, could you make your feelings known here.

Bagpuss.

Yeah, very good idea.

I bumped this in the site suggestions area and one of the mods did say it had been mentioned as needed to those on high :)

HTH

Already?

The level of content here for the Superb II can only grow - I think its a good idea

I don't think there's any debate about having one.

It probably just needs a bit of time to set up.

I know its taking liberties, but some of the mods have a life as well.

It should all be in hand, once the new forum is created we will move all the new superb posts across from this section. Hopefully sooner rather than later, as you say the number of threads is increasing meaning more threads to move.

I was thinking the same thing and as others have already said the content can only grow. A very good idea.

Dito... Let's get this done yesterday! Oh & while you're at it think ya might correct the FabiaII forum to read as such.:sofahide:

Once we have decided on a name, that name will remain. If we change the name of a forum then all external links break and links to threads from other sites no longer work. The Fabia II forum will forever more be called Fabia >2007. The Octavia II forum, was named that because they still manufacture the Octavia MK1, so to call it Octavia >2004 would not have been appropriate.

I've just had a thought - will the Superb II thread be a sub of this? Or a new forum like the Fabia II, Octy II etc ?

Think you have answered your own question there

A Superb II forum will happen in time (why would a new model not have its own forum?) but IMO i think its a bit premature, after all how many Superb II owners are there on here?

Meh.

It made sense at the time

:OThey didnt sell that many old Superbs--- The new one will take some time to take off!!

Your going to end up with a vey Minority Forum!!!

personally i think its a great idea.......getting feed back from the new prospective owners of the new superbs.....then we can discipher all the info and weigh it all up against the old superb.......still want one tho

A strange thing today- I was at a local tourist spot with my wife, I was hoping to do some cloud formation photography---- Any way 3 New Model Superbs turned up in convoy, all left hookers & all German registered. They parked up fr a while so I strolled over to have a quick look.

Oh Dear what a dissapointment--- Citroen C5 Came to mind-the old one!! They had a clean sheet & came up with that!!

I had my old Superb for 3 yrs before I P-Xed It

I wont be putting my name down for the new model--- It looks like ---Well everything else!!:thumbdwn:
