Samsung Omnia - iPhone competition heats up!

Featured Replies

Guy at work has just got an imoan.

Tried it, and yes the interface is quirky, but even he admits it's seriously lacking in stuff common on many other phones/devices.

Samsund seem to be aiming squarly at this, and taking on HTC.

This looks good, due a new handset from work in August and was going to get an HTC. This Samsung runs Windows so the Nortel Softphone we want to use will work.

I found this one last week -

HTC Touch Diamond vs. Samsung i900 Omnia: Head-to-Head - GSMArena.com

I'm hoping for an HTC Diamond when Vodafone release it on or around the 14th.

As a tip if you want to get Vodafone to roll over just tell them you are leaving and getting an iPhone, they'll throw quite a lot of 'money' at trying to make you stay.

I've been offered the Diamond free with 500 mins, 500 texts, unlimited internet all for £25 month on a 12 month contract.
