Federal Tyres on VRS

Featured Replies

I have 3 New federal 595 tyres On My fabia VRS SE Which i Bought last Week,i Am Having a 4th Fitted To Make it a Set. I Have been told These Are a `Budget` tyre and Not The Best for The Car,Does Any one have these Tyres and How Do They Rate Them?

Had these on the front of a Mk4 Astra Coupe Turbo, wear well and give quite a decent grip. Couldn't say anything bad considering the price.

Yes they are budget tyres not the worse budget tyre though, how much did you pay for them?

I got them at trade price off of a mate was about £54 a tyre....

Not bad, but for about the same price you could of got falkens 452's which are highly rated still a budget tyre but one of the best.

I ran them on my vRS (and the GPS) and although they do grip fine, they went "out of shape" on both may cars, and caused vibration ect before reaching the wear markers, so I had to replace before they had worn out.... (so deffo a 'budget' tyre)

but as the others said though at least they arn't "ditchfinders" ;) they grip 'ok'.......

I have them and have found them fine!!

=P

Got them on the front of ours (VRS alloys) and they grip pretty well :)

ive just got a full set of firenza ST-08's on the fabia vRS which ive also been told they are budget but i think they grip very very well!.. and im not complaining for £47 per corner .. the Federals where the same price too.

Same here mate!

I thought I'd bite the bullet and give them a try!

They grip really well, only downside is they are a little bit noisy but meh!

Me thinks we've stumbled on a bargain tyre here ;)

Wonder how long theyll last...
