I live in Egypt and the speed limit in Egypt is not used in many highways, so it is allowed legally to speed-up more than 120 KM/HR. however my Octavia II is irritating me by the default warning of 120 KM/HR sound

Can anyone help me in turning off this irritating warning? It is legal here but dont know how to do it?

if you have maxi-dot you can do it in the display menu

if you dont have maxidot, it can be done using vag-com or at your dealer. I believe they need to change the country code to one where the warning is not required, eg. any european country.

I've seen somewhere, there was a guy from Saudi Arabia complaining about same thing. Then he plugged VagCom and change the country code to Canada. Problem was gone.
