Hi all.

As said yesterday I had designed a Skoda named footplate and inserts.The laser guy cut the footplate this afternoon but no time for the inserts. As you can see from the image below the O,D and A have to be connected otherwise they would be just empty spaces.I,m not a great fan of this "tagging" as he calls it.I kept it to a minimum of 1mm.Any less and the laser may have struggled to keep form.Lettering like GTI and the VRS logo dont need any tagging so I can keep true to the original font.

On the inserts the "acute accent" above the S of Skoda would have to be ommitted.Due to the size of the inserts it just would,nt cut out.

Holes can be omitted..same logo on the inserts with the exception of the accent.

I,ve shipped the VW inserts and stuff worldwide.So Germany no problem.

That green as backing is the Microsoft green you get with any of their products.I thought it matched Skoda and just cut some out to enhance the lasering.I would,nt use it on the footplates but on the inserts as they dont get wet thats ok I guess.On my GTI footplate and inserts I cut the red backing from the reverse of a hamlet minatures tin.

All parts now manufactured with the exception of the inserts OCTAVIA.

Since posting the fact that the insert is to small for that amount of lettering I have,nt heard from the guy so will take it as footplate only.

Will quality check parts tomorrow when picked up,Post a pic on this thread

of the entire set,(it makes me happy knowing you guys can see they are finished),then post payment details.

All complete,pic below of parts for shipping.

Please leave full addresses as I use paypal for postage labels.Anything left out such as postcodes etc paypal throws a sickie..If I remember Ireland doe,snt have postcodes and I resorted to a hand written parcel so no worries there.Also leave forum name in comments box so I know who you guys are.This has led to a couple of fubars in the past resorting to emails between parties to establish who,s who.

The inserts are cleaned and polished and wrapped to prevent any damage to the stainless steel.The same will be for the footplates.
