Featured Replies

Had a few fast fords over the years & i love my vRS to bits but i really like this Autoblog

Just don't get it in that green OK? :dung:

Has the potential to be very nice. Where's the Cosworth though, with 4WD to go up against the Evo and STi properly? :rubchin:

Steve

Tidy motor colour as said is dreadful be ok in that orangy one they do though,

Yeah I think a Cosworth version is long overdue.

I had a test drive in a focus st-2 (in asbo orange) last saturday and liked it alot however the quaility compared to the vRS is poo , for the money they were asking i would rather have the vRS petrol . I had a focus ST170 and to be honest it was not that good , best one was the mondeo st-tdci but still no comparison to the vRS

Ford don't own Cosworth?

It's been overdue since the Focus was released in original form. Come on Ford, you can do it.

Alfa don't own Prodrive, but it doesn't stop them teaming up for a bit of good work on the Brera :)

No reason why Ford and Cosworth couldn't do the same.

white with anthracite wheels

I thought Careless Angle worked for BMW? ;) Oh and that SubLime was a 1970s MOPAR color (sic).

my mate just told me last night he wants to sell his Audi TT next year for either a new shape TT's or one of these........

Nice cars but these wont get the same attension that the "old school cossie" did will they ?

the green's a nod to the RS(1600?) Escorts from the olden days

In that green they will!

They do look fantastic, first time I've noticed the R34 GTR-style front lip/bonnet spoiler thingy too, if only it was 4WD! :(

The closest Ford shade I can think to that was Modena (maybe Monza) Green, which was darker, and not even vaguely flourescent.

obviously it's not exactly the same, but it's similar and the Focus is a metal flake paint rather than a regular flat/solid colour. not a clue on the actual name of the shade, but this is sort of thing (crappy picture aside):

I'd never seen a mk1 that shade before.

I suspect that 280+bhp through the front wheels might cause some problems.

I remember test driving the Focus RS a few years back and that sufferred from the steering tugging in both directions and that was with less power/torque.

Shame they have been unsuccessful in making this 4WD for the road.

Does look awesome, but not sure I'd want to own something that gash.

I'm waiting to see it in the flesh and hopefully in a different colour... :)

it's a proper dirty, ghetto photoshop...but I reckon it'll look quite nice in white:

Now that looks much better...

The green looks too much like the special edition Fiesta Zetec-S.. :thumbdwn:
