Race Blue Touch up paint

Featured Replies

Has ANYBODY found some race blue touch up paint that actually matches the cars colour?, had an aerosol mixed to paint the rear sensors and that was darker, got chipsaway out to repair some damage who said it was better to brush touch up rather than spray as he would end up spraying a large area just to get a blend, his mixed touch up was also darker. Any idea's/experiences:confused:

Try a Skoda dealer i would imagine theres to be correct.

You can find Skoda original touch-up paint + lacquer race blue from your nearest dealer with part number HFB 380084

I've found up to, apparently, 11 different shades of Black Magic though so I personally wouldn't assume that Skoda do a one stop shop no matter what they say! Best bet is to take it to a sprayer who can mix the paint specifically once they've matched it to their various version colour strips so it's as close as possible.

Yes, mine is spot on. To be honest I have never ever had paint match so well. From the dealer for a few quid.

Paint from the dealer is suprisingly inexpensive and in most cases cheaper than the likes of halfords.

I don,t trust any non gen paint at all.

I got mine from the main stealer in Macc, the match is spot on.

My dealer touch up stick was spot on too.

Thanks for that, will try the genuine stuff. The chipsaway guy lead me to believe that it was a difficult match, doing himself out of work.
