Mitac Mio 168 PDA - Integrated GPS

Featured Replies

bought this last week. quite a small pda (about 2210 size) with a flap on the back which is the integrated GPS antenna.

could go on and on but in essence, it's a great piece of kit with the CoPilot 4 software.

good points:

- excellent mapping data from Navteq - industry leading so all the GPS sites say. software execution is fantastic with very detailed verbal and written commands.

- nice size

- no leads bar power if battery low

- maps came on supplied 128mb SD card

bad points:

- not as pretty as tomtom, no 3D view

- POI/speed camera overlay extremely laborious and not as comprehensive as tomtom.

- only one SD/MMC slot, no bluetooth(don't need as yet)

-some software bugs displaying words when lots of detail - not often though.

i'm extremely happy with it but think if i was doing it again, i'd save some dough and buy it with tomtom. nevertheless, an excellent wee unit that does exactly what it says on the tin.
