Not as fast as (m)any of the above, but I really wished I had my camera with me yesterday, as I was barely feet away from a grebe chasing baby chubs - I'd loved to have been able to catch them jumping out of the water to escape! it would have been Countryfile photo comp time if I'd succeeded, I think!

My wife and I went to Kenya on honeymoon, and I had to stop myself looking through the camera all the time at things, 'cos I was missing out on everything else going on - bit like Bruce Lee said: "Do not concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory."

The two fastest things I have captured on my Minolta film camera is a Jet Ski whilst it was turning (causing a nice wave) and a hockey ball in mid-flight goal bound. When I find the images I will scan them in and post them here.
