anyone ordered toyo tyres recently from anywhere?

Featured Replies

usually order from camskill but they have put their prices up.

used to be £57 per tyre for 205x45x16 standard vrs wheel size.

now gone up to £63.30.

just wondering if anyone knew where the cheapest place to get toyos at the moment is.

cheers.

another vote for Camskill here. When i got some Toyos the other month they were a lot more than six quid cheaper than anyone else i tried so the new price will probably still be the cheapest.

Cheers

Dave.

Have you tried going for 215x40x16? The toyos come out at £54.70 each at Camskill!

Cheapest price i could find for 2 Toyo T1-Rs was £160.50!! I'm paying £173.00 all in because the guy can come to me to fit them and with the hours i'm doing, i wouldn't have been able to get to the garage for the £160.50 tyres. :(

well the thing is, at 63.30 each from camskill, for £145 inc fitting i could get them from a local garage. if i got them from camskill i'd then have to pay a tenner a wheel at a local place for fitting, so there is literally no saving.

Just bought two T1s for the front, £140 inc fitting & balancing & VAT

for £145 inc fitting i could get them from a local garage.

I take that the price is for 2 toyos!

I can't get any cheaper than £162 inc fitting, balance and vat! And I've had them do some of my tyres before, they're not the fastest and def not the most careful!

ATS Want 102.99 each!

I bought 2 for my octy last week and was told that they had gone up slightly, but I had them at the old price ...........which was nice.

I think he said they were 4% up on the last time I had them.

just paid £260 quid for 4 215/40/17 t1r's but thats at cost with the vat off:O

Adam, are you still in contact with Claire? She works for Toyo.

You could try Northway in Watford - they are usually good for price match etc

yep i still speak to claire.

the place that quoted me £145 fitted for 2 toyos is a new place in chesham, so tbh i will probably end up getting them from there just to save on hassle.

getting lummox to replace my console bushes and dogbone mount on august the 2nd too as i have some really back clunking noises coming from the front of my car, and there is no tread left on the inside edges of my tyres.

cool, think I'll be in the market for some rubber soon - will probably change them before winter.

if you want something long lasting then don't bother with the toyos, i think mine have lasted about 7k miles.

I've done 7k since I got the car late April. The standard Bridgeys seem to be lasting ok - now on 14k.

There are 2 differences though Adam, yours is remapped and I've seen the way you drive... :D

I'll see what's about and have a read up. I know that Fabias are heavy on front tyres anyway. My old GTI6 was quite harsh on tyres too.

i use my car a lot for work and that is generally motorway driving and london driving, i don't thrash it all the time.

i know the extra torque from the map will make a lot of difference, but honestly they are just very very soft wearing tyres.

Nah I've heard they're soft ;)
