Equipment Insurance

Featured Replies

Having just splashed out on a new Canon EOS 450D, extra lens, bag, etc etc I thought it would probably be wise getting special insurance for it, as combined its worth quite alot.

Do any of you have any specialised insurance for your photographic equipment? I'll be travelling a bit this year, so my travel insurance may cover it if something was to happen whilst travelling and at the same time I assume if something happens to it at home, our home insurance will take care of it. I still need to check the fine print of both policies.

But, what do you do for your stuff?

Cheers

I use Photoguard, sadly had to make a claim last summer and was dealt with very swiftly and courteously. As usual with insurance products, make sure you read all the small print of the various insurers you're considering.
