VRS gone

Featured Replies

Well after 2 years ive changed my octy vrs for a leon cupra r 225,i know some of you will say why not just mod the octy to similar performance to the the lcr but i figured no matter how much money i put into it it would never be an lcr which ive always wanted anyway. Not here to slate the VRS not at all was a good big solid very fast car that got heaps of respect from everybody but i just wanted something a bit more focused which from drving the lcr it is, not hugely faster but the way it puts down its power and handles just makes it feel like a focused car.

Im hardly one of the forums more active members but ill still pop in now and then, you've been such a friendly helpful bunch in the past when ive had questions and problems plus the new look forum looks much better than seatcupra.net lol

But you only just got the hesitations fixed!

We all have to move on mate good to see your sticking with VAG anyway. I don't think the seat boys and girls are as friendly as us lot but hope you enjoy the car.

Nice one mate! thats the car i wanted to get really but the price was abit out of my reach, but i see there coming down slowly. Come on lets see some pics!

Stick around and post a review, with some pics :)

It was the car i wanted when i got the octy but at the time my finances and prices of LCRs meant it was out of reach, luckily im earning more money now combined with lower prices for lcrs means it was within my reach, plus i got a good deal on it, it was an 05 but was an ex company/fleet car so had 68k on the clock but had a FSSH,serviced every 6 months, 4 new tyres and new discs and is immaculate and was only 9k less my trade in for the octy. Ill deffo stick about and get some pics up and have a stab at giving it a bit of a review lol
