The missus was driving my Fabia yesterday and the abs and traction control light came on.Car was in for a service today and the mechanic cleared the lights off the dash,a quick drive down the road and both came back on.He said it could possibly be the ABS pump.The car is an 2000 X plate,with engine code AUB.Any ideas on this matter and am i looking at a mega huge bill for a new ABS pump?

Depends on the fault codes. If you got it from a dealer take it back and get them to fix it.

Dealer - otherwise look up the Briskoda map of members with vagcom, find someone local to you and scan it. Then you'll know what's wrong exactly.
